Taxi

Easiest way to move from Barcelona airport (El Prat) to the city center of Barcelona is taking a taxi, wich usually costs between 20€ and 40€ (depending on the day, the time and wich destination you are going to). Train

Renfe suburban train. Line R2 North Airport - Sant Celoni / Maçanet Massanes

Due to the second phase of the Spanish High-Velocity rail works in the vicinity of Sant Andreu Comtal station, the service to the airport is currently provided on line 2 Norte Aeropuerto - Sant Celoni / Maçanet Massanes.

Itinerary:

Aeropuerto - El Prat de Llobregat - Bellvitge - Barcelona Sants - Paseo de Gracia - Barcelona-El Clot Aragó - Barcelona-St. Andreu Comtal - Montcada i Rexac - La Llagosta - Mollet-Sant Fost - Montmeló - Granollers Centro - Les Franqueses-Granollers Nord - Cardedeu - Llinars del Vallés - Palautordera - Sant Celoni. Some services continue to Gualba, Riells i Viabrea-Breda, Hostalric y Maçanet-Massanes.

Stops:

The airport station is situated opposite T2, and is connected to this terminal via an airbridge. There is also a Bustransit service between the Renfe station and T1.

Journey duration:

To Barcelona Sants, 19 minutes. To Sant Celoni, 1 hour 24 minutes.

Timetable:

From the airport, from 5:42am to 11:38pm. Every 30 minutes.


Train Estació França - Airport - Estació França

A direct train runs once a day between Estació França and the airport and vice versa.

Itinerary:

Barcelona-Estació França - Airport - Barcelona-Estació França

Stops:

The access road to the airport, the C-31 Barcelona-Castelldefels dual carriageway, connects with the C-32 Barcelona-Sitges. Using the Barcelona ring roads you'll be able to quickly reach any part of the city.
